Technology

In this patent, the gold-nanoparticle synthesis with surface modification is realized for the colorimetric detection of manganese ions by naked eye and quantitative evaluation using electrochemical analysis. This method offers the instant detection with the capabilities of trace amount detection and ultrahigh sensitivity.

Benefits

  1. The synthesized and modified gold nanoparticles performed in this technique not only realize visual recognition of manganese ion, but also integrate electrochemistry quantitative analysis method to achieve detection limit lower than 0.01 ppm and accuracy higher than 90%.
  2. The introduction of electrochemistry analysis greatly improves detection sensitivity and further compensates the detection accuracy of  colorimetric table.
