In the recent years, Internet of Things became more popular through many field, like Logistics monitoring, Medical Care, Advanced Metering Infrastructure, Agriculture Gardening, Car Electronics, Smart Home…etc. With the wireless connection, every node in the internet can be monitored and managed instantly. Therefore, the wireless communication system will be the Core Technology of the IoT. In this patent, A low-power wireless radio-frequency transceiver system for Internet of Things has been proposed. In the wireless radio-frequency transmitter system, it is combined by the Pre-Emphasis Signal Generator, Current-Reused Voltage-Controlled Oscillator and the Current-Reused Multiple-Transconductance Power Amplifier. The Pre-Emphasis Signal Generator has the techniques of reducing the power consumption of system and increasing the bit-rate of system. The Current-Reused Voltage-Controlled Oscillator has the techniques of reducing the power consumption of system and increasing the output power of system. The Current-Reused Multiple-Transconductance Power Amplifier has the techniques of reducing the power consumption of system and increasing the power efficiency of system. With the techniques in the system above, an ultra-low power, low area, low cost wireless radio-frequency transmitter system can be achieved. In the wireless radio-frequency receiver system, it is combined by the Balun Self-Biasing Gain-Bandwidth-Improved Envelope Detector, Tunable High-Pass Filter, Current-Reused Cascode-Two-Stage Amplifier and Comparator. The Balun Self-Biasing Gain-Bandwidth-Improved Envelope Detector has the techniques of reducing the power consumption of system and increasing the bit-rate and the sensitivity of system. The Current-Reused Cascode-Two-Stage Amplifier has the techniques of reducing the power consumption of system and increasing the bit-rate and the sensitivity of system. With the techniques in the system above, an ultra-low power, low area, low cost wireless radio-frequency receiver system can be achieved. |
