技術摘要

LIB矽陽極的儲電容量理論上可達傳統石墨的10倍以上。但是充、放電時的體積變化大,造成矽碎裂,暴露大表面積又失去彼此導電通路。本發明方法可以減緩技術矽陽極的碎裂,以維持高儲電量。

現有技術描述

  1. Nanostructured silicon
  2. Silicon coated with conductive carbon.
  3. Partially oxidized silicon provides hardness and less likely to break at the expense of reduced capacity.

現有技術問題及其缺陷描述

  1. Nanostructured silicon is too expensive.
  2. Coating of silicon with conductive carbon helps maintain electrical conductivity but does not prevent silicon from pulverization, which exposes fresh silicon surfaces and consumes limited supply of lithium inside a packaged lithium ion battery.
  3. Synthesis of partially oxidized silicon particles requires very high temperature and is expensive.

本技術發明目的、所欲解決之問題、能提昇的功效

  1. To protect silicon core from breaking into smaller pieces.
  2. To allow silicon to react with lithium while maintaining physical integraity of the silicon anode.
  3. Reduce the effective surface area of silicon so that the consumption of lithium for forming SEI is reduced.
